- I've been intrigued all my life with the paranormal and its curiosities. While on an overnight trip to a small coal town in Hooversville, PA, with my best friend's family, I saw my first ghost. That was the confirmation for me. Many people said we were lying, just goofing around, or trying to scare the younger children, but that wasn't the case. I was thrilled to start seeing tv shows geared towards the paranormal and that it was finally coming out of the closet for "knowers" to not be ridiculed.
