GHOST HUNTERS LIVE - 7PM HALLOWEEN NITE

If you've got to go out with the kiddies be sure to set the TIVO so you don't miss a thing! I hope it's an exciting night and be prepared to watch all evening, its a long one!

NEW SHOW OPINION

I've watched the new show on the Travel Channel, Ghost Adventures and I hate to say I'm not so impressed with it as of yet. Yes, there have been some great captures of anomolies and voices and such but I just think the investigators talk way too much and we don't get to hear the reply when they ask the spirit to give them a sign. You watch it and let me know your thoughts.

MOST HAUNTED LIVE in GETTYSBURG

"Most Haunted", a Travel Channel ghost hunting show, aired LIVE in GETTYSBURG, PA Friday evening, 10/10/08. Maybe it was because I was familiar with the area and the history, or it was simply intriguing as always, but I found it to be one of the BEST shows they have done in a while. It was a long show but I tried not to miss a minute. Several close friends were watching it too and we'd call at the breaks to talk about the happenings. My personal favorite during the show was the seance held in the Jennie Wade home. The show ran from 8PM till 3PM. Check your On Demand feature if you have cable to see if they put on a "highlights" feature in case you'd like to enjoy it too.

There's a new show coming on this Friday, 10/17/08, called GHOST ADVENTURERS. I don't know yet what the format will be, but if you like ghost hunting I'm sure it'll be worth a look. THe documentary part begins at 8PM and the show begins at 10PM. I'm excited to check it out!

Deja Vu or a Premonition?

Have you ever experienced Deja Vu? or had a premonition of some sort? I have plenty of times. It happened about 29 years and I was in the bathroom, my daughter was just a toddler. I had her on top the toilet seat getting her new walking shoes tied when it hit me. I knew that instant that I needed to carry her down the stairs because I knew she'd fall down the stairs if I didn't. I pictured the entire scene and experienced it previously in my mind.

Of course I don't know if it really would have happened or not, but you must always listen to your whispers, follow your gut feelings. It's better to be safe than sorry any day!

Hubby's lightbulb moment

My husband always listened to my "stories" half heartedly until he had his own ghostly encounter. He was scheduled to go away on a fishing trip with his club and it was the day after we had buried his mother. He was torn as to whether to still go or not. Everyone convinced him his mom would have wanted him to still go so he did. On the very first night at the campgrounds he awoke and had to walk over to the latrine area. He gathered the flashlight and proceeded walking down the path through the woods when he suddenly heard someone calling his name. Of course you know who it was, his mother! He didn't hear her say anything else, she just called his name several times. He was sort of scared but knew it was his mother just acknowleding she was still with him. From that moment he never teased me about my "stories". In fact, he started paying even more attention to the things going on around him and couldn't quite believe some of the things he began to experience. I'll tell more of those stories throughout the blog. Share with us your changing moment.
